Sunday Services

9:00-10:00am – Community Service

Every Sunday morning various spiritual and religious services are conducted by LHSC community members to include toning, meditation, rituals and presentations that respect all beliefs. This is an excellent opportunity to explore various belief systems to help create your own individual path to a divine connection. LHSC is open to teachers and individuals that areinterested in sharing their gifts by performing these services. Please Contact Us if you are interested.

10:30-11:30am – Celebration Service

Our Celebration Services include inspirational music, meditation, and heartening presentations by our Ministerial Guides or a Guest Speaker. Come join us to be uplifted and renewed. Then stay for fellowship and refreshments afterwards.

10:30-11:30am – Children’s Program

The Children’s Program meets in our Earth Room during the Celebration Service. The program includes fun activities for our children and guidance honoring various religions and general sacred spiritual principles.

*Our childrens program takes a break during the summer. All our wonderful gifted children will be welcome to attend the Sunday Services with the adults.

Commitment and Benefits

Becoming a member of Lake Harriet Spiritual Community (LHSC) is easy. The first step is to sign up for a membership class, which occurs several times a year. The class is around an hour long. During it you will learn about the history of LHSC and our building, read our guiding principles and meet other new visitors. Contact Us to sign up.

What we ask from you is: support to help continue our independent organization and volunteer hours a couple times a year. In return you get the benefit of being a voting member of LHSC, a 10% discount on rental of rooms for classes/events and the ability to start a Community Circle, if you so desire.

New Member Class and Ceremonies

New Member Classes and Ceremonies are held quarterly. We recommend that you come join us to get a feel for the Community before you make a membership decision. Once you get involved here you’ll hear about membership and about lots of ways to get involved. Contact Us to sign up for the next New Member class.

Community Dialogues and Annual Meeting

The community dialogues last year were a big success. We extend our thanks to all those who participated. Our 2010 Annual Membership Meeting will be held at the end of October. Everyone is encouraged to attend, regardless of membership status.

Community Potlucks

There are community events several times a month including potlucks and fellowship, picnics, outings, and more! Generally speaking our potlucks occur on the 1st Sunday of the month after the Celebration Service. This is a perfect opportunity to get to know others and to become more familair with LHSC members.
