Who We Are
Lake Harriet Spiritual Community (LHSC) is an independent non-profit spiritual organization.
We are a cohesive group of like-minded individuals with a variety of spiritual and religious beliefs who come together to celebrate as a community guided by empowering principles.
Help Us Preserve Our Home
For 110 years, Lake Harriet Spiritual Community has been a place where people find connection, inspiration, friendship, and belonging.
It's where we gather for meaningful conversations, celebrate life's milestones, support one another through challenges, and build the community we cherish.
Today, we're asking for your help caring for the place that makes all of this possible.
Our roof is due for reshingling, and we're raising $5,000 to help complete this important project, scheduled for Spring 2027. By taking care of this need now, we can protect our building and avoid more costly repairs in the future.
But this campaign is about more than a roof.
It's about preserving a welcoming space where people come together to learn, grow, connect, and find support.
Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure that Lake Harriet Spiritual Community can continue serving our community for years to come.
Your donation will help fund:
- Roof reshingling planned for Spring 2027
- Protection of our gathering and program spaces
- Stewardship of our historic community home
- A strong future for LHSC
More Than a Building
When you give, you're helping preserve a place where:
- Friendships are formed
- Music brings people together
- Spiritual exploration is encouraged
- Community support is always available
- Everyone is welcome
Can't Donate Today?
You can still help by sharing this campaign with friends, family, and former members. Personal recommendations help us reach new supporters.
Together, we can protect the home that has supported so many people and ensure it remains a place of connection and growth for future generations.
Thank you for being part of the Lake Harriet Spiritual Community story.
